FilmmakerAlexander Chen is a writer and director interested in memory, family, grief, identity, and the emotional spaces people struggle to articulate.
His work combines observational character drama with elements of psychological horror and surrealism, often focusing on ordinary people whose carefully maintained realities begin to fracture.
He is the founder of Emperor Mine Films.
Caroline Dobbe
Executive ProducerCaroline Dobbe is from the Chicago area. She graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a degree in film and video. She started her career as a post-production intern at Wolf Films. She eventually became a post-production PA on NBC’s The Office. Over the last 20 years, she has worked on hit shows such as Big Love, Rizzoli & Isles, The Boys, and most recently as a producer on the Netflix show Outer Banks. She loves television and films and has a blast working in the industry. Besides her passion for filmmaking, she is also a very passionate Chicago Cubs fan. Go Cubs Go!
